· Two phase team selection process as follows:
1) All pilots must qualify to enter the final selection event;
2) Team Selection (TS) contest where the 3 best pilots and 1 alternate pilot are selected.
The F3K team finals will be held in Wilson, NC, October 1-3, 2010. The first team selection cycle will be during 2010, to select the team for the 2011 F3K World Championship.
· Establish a website for Contest Directors (CDs) to register F3K contests to be considered for a TS qualifier. This web site will notify the US F3K community of contest dates and details by hosting an annual contest calendar. www.f3k.us
· Announcements about contests and the team selection process will be posted to RCGroups, etc.
· CDs shall submit contest results to the web master. The web site will publish contest results and list people currently qualified for the TS finals.
· Select a governing committee of the USA F3K Team Selection League, consisting of at least 3 people, including a web-master. The TS committee would approve the members of this governing F3K committee.
· The function of the governing committee will be to support the F3K TS finals qualification process through the above mentioned web site, publishing TS qualifier results and the current list of pilots qualified for the TS finals. The members of this F3K sub-committee can be suggested by the TS committee chairman and members of the TS committee.
